hey, im using hp ml150 gen 6 server and i installed windows server 2008 r2. There is only 1 lan adapter. How i can use both the lan adapter? I tried to reinstall network drivers but it does not help. thanks in advance.

You said 1 adapter, then you said both. What is it?

If you have a dual ethernet Motherboard, they should both show up in Device Manager or maybe one of them has a yellow question mark, in which case high-lite it, and install driver for it. Make sure both are enabled in BIOS.

thanks sir, but i checked the bios and i saw that nic control and pxe is already enabled. and your right, in the device manager section, the other adapter is yellow-marked. though i try to use the cd and try to install all the network adapter, it does not add a adapter, its just changing my adapter. Ex: From Broadcom Nextreme gigabit adapter it changed to HP NC107i PCIe Gigabit Server Adapter.

From HP specs:
Network Controller: Embedded HP NC107i PCI Express Gigabit Server Adapter
I don't see "dual" here, as in more modern generations, are you sure you have two network interfaces? If so, the second one must be add-on card, and you have to find the drivers from that add-on card' manufacturer.
So, the question remains: How many cards do you see in "Device manager"? How many RJ45 ports are on that server?
And finally - what you would use the second interface for?
