How important is RAM speed?

Is 8GB's of DDR4-3000MHz enough for gaming?Or can i even get something lower than 3000MHz?

for AMD its a lot. For intel its much less, If you use Intel + Nvidia then its close to none.

then the image I've inserted is exactly what you have. around 20% faster with 3200 vs 2133.
also make sure you have 2 sticks as its using them A LOT!

Ryzen seems to LOVE!!! faster RAM but 3000MHz is just fine. 2400MHZ? Not really.

In the future it would help if you offered your complete specs or at least the motherboard and CPU. The motherboard's page will offer a Memory QVL(Qyalified Vendor List) which is a guideline for RAM. With that information we can offer a more definitive answer. If complete specs, including the PSU are available a complete specs. list helps a lot but in this instance only the motherboard's make and model is needed. .
