How is my build for gaming on ULTRA quality on latest games?

How is my build right now?? (Main parts)
- Intel Core i5 3570k
- Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Toxic
- Corsair XMS3 8GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz
- MSI B75MA-P45 (LGA 1155)
- Corsair CX 750M 750w PSU
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB (x2)

Bump your board up to a more appropriate Z77/87/97 (provided they check out compatibility wise), as they will support overclocking. Your current board doesn't support overclocking which completely defeats the purpose of buying a K series CPU. Otherwise it should do just fine. I think the R9 280X is tucked between the 760 and 770 in terms of performance so I wouldn't expect to play every game on Ultra, but you'll get there with most of them.

Better buy 1600MHz RAM.

You just need 600-650w PSU for this build. Save some bucks by not going for high wattages. Better buy Seasonic/XFX series PSU.

You're okay with a 750W PSU. It might be a little overkill for your current needs, but it gives you a good amount of headroom should you decide to overclock your CPU/GPU. This also ensures you have enough juice to power new components down the line without having to tear all your power connections out and install a new PSU.

Yes, I know that but really you don't need that much wattage. Anyhow, there is nothing wrong with having certain headroom for overclocking but still it is overkill.

Thanks for answer. But i think i'll go with the 750w because here in Norway it is only a 10$ gap between 650w and 750w soooo yea 😉

Wont' be able to Ultra in WatchDogs. Here is the current Benchmarks http://www.techspot.com/review/827-watch-dogs-benchmarks/
Plus there was a tom's article to unlock the higher graphics, but still need a 290 or better, or even a 760/770 be better selection from everyone else's posts I seen.

R9 280X is a good card and competed directly against GTX 770 though GTX 770 is expensive. Watch Dogs is an exception. They need to optimize the game to offer game play at ultra settings and then VRAM issue with this game is not yet gone.

Agreed. Watch Dogs is horribly optimized. That said I remember seeing a video awhile back that had Watch Dogs playing on an R9 280X and it seemed to be doing really well.
