Depends what game you're playing/what youre using it for. If youre going for graphically intensive single player games, I wouldnt say 240hz but definitely above 100hz @ 1080 depending on graphics settings. Any of the MMO games will run at 240hz.

I would recommend you buy an ssd instead of the external hard drive. Also, there si no need to spend $150 on a windows key
