Yo folks, so I got this new idea, for spending a few 1000$ on a new pc, and I've got some specs.
Can you possibly confirm the compatibility, between these components?

Specs.

MOBO: Eiter ASUS TUF SABERTOOTH X99 LGA2011-V3 DDR4 or Asus SABERTOOTH Z170 S ATX LGA1151
CPU: i7 7700k
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W 80+
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 64GB DDR4 2400 MT/s
GPU: ASUS Strix GTX 1080 OC SLI
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB
Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 750D
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other Specs.

Monitor: ASUS PG278QR 27" 1ms 165hz 1440p
Keyboard: Corsair Gaming K95 Platinum Black, MX Speed
Headset: Sennheiser PC 373D
Mouse: Zowie EC2-A
Mousepad: Cooler Master Swift-RX "Large Size"

I am having trouble finding a proper Cooler for my CPU. I have thought of the Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2, but I know that it's really loud, so I'm probably not going for that.

I want an amazing quiet high end PC. I have an idea for which fans I will be getting, that ain't loud, but still high performance.

Please tell me, if I can get some better specs, but in the same price range.

Please tell me which silent, but great cooler I should use for this system, and if you have some ideas for fans as well, that would be amazing.

Oh, and please don't mention the stupid amount of RAM. I've heard that a million times, but I'm sticking with it. :)

Thank you.

Could you suggest a good one, within the same price range? :)

And what would you prefer. Kaby Lake vs Skylake?

Best power supply on the market, period. Plenty of power for 1080 SLI, absolute no brainer if you're looking for the best. 1200w is overkill, and this psu is way better, for less money. Otherwise get the EVGA G3 850/1000w, if you want to save some money with a little worse PSU, but still top of the game.

Other thing is 960 evo, way faster and more enduring than the 850 evo, is an obvious choice with z270. Most don't need 1TB of storage for a gaming pc, and with the newer m.2 drive, you'll be blazing fast and on top of the tech game. Eventually buy a HDD on the side for bulk and less used storage.

Every gaming PC needs more than 1TB, hell i've got over 3TB of my storage filled with just games, then add in the movies/apps/pictures/misc documents and other programs that every computer has. Especially with HDD's being so cheap these days you can get a 3TB HDD for £80.

@OP the Corsair Hydro series are not loud, if you buy some replacement fans for the radiator (Corsair SP120/Noctua NF-F12 etc.) it becomes barely audible under the sound of your other case fans.

Every gamer far from needs 1tb. If you filled 3TB with games, you must be the busiest, most ambitious gamer. I personally only filled about half of my 512gb drive, and bet you i play games.

180 Steam games (around 120 installed), 5 Origin games (all installed), 3 Uplay games (all installed), Mods folder is huge.

Lets take GTA as a worst case scenario for storage, 65GB base game with a ton of DLC easily pushing the 100GB point. The average, avid gamer needs at least 2TB when you factor everything in. If you only do some light, casual gaming then 1TB will be enough.
