I'm not going to say it needs to push high/ultra but i've seen it pushes Crysis 3 on high with about 30fps, now that may be because crysis 3 gives more load to the CPU? I don't know. I'm planning to play 7 days to die, miscreated,BF3 and those kind of games. So what's your general opinion. (I'm taking this one because it's cheap and better than my old HD4730), also i found HD5870 1GB GDDR5 256bit for a bit more money, is it worht it?
Rest of my PC
amd phenom II X4 940
ram ddr2 4gb takems 800mhz
hdd 250gb seagate 7200rpm
biostar ta790gxbe
still didn't get the psu (planning to take corsair vs450 450w)
Thanks for any help!

performance wise GTX750Ti is about as fast as GTX480 which is the fastest single gpu during 5870 era.

to be exact you can consider 750Ti as an entry level gaming gpu by today standards. another thing to consider is AMD might dropping support for 5k series soon. for now 6k and 5k series will not get DX12 treatment by AMD while nvidia supports all...

Buying used one. I looked on hwcompare and GTX750Ti's only advantage is TDP. This one requires 188w and the GTX requires 55w. But that's just theoretically, but true.

That thing can still play most new games on high or so depending how you like your fps. It's mostly limited by the lack of memory, having only 1gb of GDDR5 will force you to tune down various lightning effects etc. In many games your CPU and RAM will be the bottleneck.

I thought quad core amd is just fine, and 4GB as the minimum. I may overclock my CPU but then i would need a better cooler. So i'm at the start again :/

Yes, to most games it's fine, though the RAM in question is fairly slow, in some CPU intensive games it will be the limiting factor. I'm assuming your monitor is 1080p?

Yes, you're right thanks for enlightening me! :D How much is the difference between 750 and 750ti? Is it worth the change

the non Ti version is within 10%-15% behind the Ti version.

How is the R7 260x compared to gtx750? The r7 series is regularly new.

i you look at the review for GTX750 (non Ti) from the link that i gave you they were about equal although 260X will need 1 6 pin power connector from power supply. 260X is a direct rebrand of AMD HD7790. within the R only R9 290X/290 and the recently launched 285 is really new. everything else is direct rebrand from AMD 7k series.

Okay so it's the GTX750, Do you know anything about the GTX960, a guy told me it's good and only about $20 more when it comes out?

GTX750 MSRP at 120. maybe it is a bit cheaper now depending on deals. for sure 960 won't be 20 more than 750 MSRP price. (surely it won't be 20 more compared to 750Ti either). 960 most likely land between 250 to 300 since 970 current MSRP is at 330. but i won't be here anytime soon. initially rumor suggest october release but then new rumor said that nvidia delay 960 to early next year due to 980/970 demand.

One last question:
http://www.pik.ba/artikal/14443492/napajanje-500w-chieftec-gps-500a8-500w/ or http://www.pik.ba/artikal/12207376/corsair-vs450-450w-85-efficiency/
which one is the more quality one?
