How is the amd A-series

Solution
Given lots of high speed RAM and favorable conditions, APUs can do what they're designed to do, which is provide integrated graphics better than Intel and good enough to creep into "runs current games" territory. That's about all they'll do. If you aren't playing anything newer than two or so years ago and don't mind running on low to medium on a large portion of games, they'll do the job. I wouldn't recommend them, but they'll work.

Solution
It depends a lot on what games you want to play, at what settings, at what resolution, etc. Of the ones you listed, the Source engine games (TF2; CS:GO; Garry's Mod if that's what gmod is) should run fine. APUs will also easily run a huge amount of worthwhile indie games. For more modern triple-A titles with 45+ FPS performance and good visuals/1080p you're going to need something more powerful.
