How is the AMD A10-5700 APU?

Solution
it depends what you want to use it for. if you will be gaming and getting a dedicated graphics card, the a-10 is a massive waste of money. for around the same price (mobo + cpu) you can get a decent 970 chipset am3+ motherboard and get an fx-6300 which will be FAR better for gaming.

if you plan on using integrated graphics, i'd wait until early next year and get the fm2+ based kavari chips. no sense in getting an already out of date a-10 now. the 6700 and 6800 do perform a bit better but still, i'd say wait for kavari.

if budget is a concern and you'll be using a dedicated graphics card, get a good fm2+ motherboard and an Athlon x4 760k.

in the end it all comes down to what you want to do with the processor. the A-10 is a good...

I've heard alot of positive things from it, and was actually going to buy one until i found out that the fx-8350 (black edition unlocked) @ 4.0 GHz was my better selection, only because of the fact that i do massive multitasking with massive amounts of data at a time. I run an A6 Vision on my laptop with APU graphics (integrated) with a quad core running at a slower GHz, but even at that it blows away most desktop computers. So i could guess that the A10 would be an impressive little chip at a even more impressive price.
