I am looking into upgrading my Gaming Computer one step at a time and I want to know how the Radeon r7 240 performs, I don't plan on getting this Graphics Card but the Processor I plan to get has a built-in Graphics card which performs somewhere between the radeon r7 240/250. I plan to use the built-in Card until I can purchase a way better one since I know it is better than the card I currently have which is the Nvidia Geforce gt 520. You can see the build I plan to use here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BPdnCJ

yeah, GTX 750ti is great.
and if you wanna use R7 240/250 for a short time (just temporary) then its good.
you just cant play high-end games, anything else will work just fine.

goodluck.
R7 240 is really more of a if-you-don't-have-a-built-in-gpu-then-take-this, The price/performance of cards like the R7 240 and R7 250 is very bad, i would strongly suggest atleast getting the money for a R7 260 or GT750, that's where you'll see some much better price/performance action.

Of cource if the R7 240 is your only choice and you really need a gpu now, then get it, but if you can wait or have the extra money for it, really, get the R7 260 or GT750.

having the more expensive card would be my suggestion, both for the cheapest gpu and for better performance.
1: it will last you longer because of the extra performance, making the time before you'll need to make a costly upgrade again longer, and that makes it less expensive than it's pricetag when looking ahead in time.
2: it will perform better in games AND it will run every game on atleast lowest settings, which i can't say about the R7 240 at all.

That's actually the card I plan to get in the future I just want to know if the Radeon r7 240/250 would work good for temporary usage since it is built in to the CPU I plan to get anyway.
