I am looking at a system under $1,500 tax's and shipping in, and I put together these, All I want is a good budget pure gaming build that will run most games at 1080 on high, but not enthusis graphics mode.

Ram- GeIL Black Dragonn 2x2gb - (Open to Suggestions) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144384'

operation system - windows 7 64 bit - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116754

Grand total before taxs - $1,225.89
so around $1,400 bucks total I would guess.

want to keep the price low so if you have any good suggestions, or anything that may be alot better at a slight cost increase or if im forgetting something or if these parts don't work together or anything at all lol, feel free to tell me, since im new. THANK YOU!!!

First off, 2 HD Radeon 6850 GPUs makes a high end gaming rig that will run your games at enthusist levels. Check out this review, and you'll see that 6850 CF, when listed, falls in the middle of the pack amongst the big boys. One of these cards alone will do the job.

With that said, here is a way to save another quick $100:

1) Combo one of the video cards with your CPU to save $15

2) Consider this less expensive motherboard/Windows OS combo to save another $78

Other thoughts: the case is beautiful, with great airflow and super cable management. The memory you selected is OK. PSU is good.

Only missing part I can think of might be a heat sink. Here is a good, low price choice...
Nice. For RAM you can get something like this:

You can also get a single HD 6970, it will be slower, but no hassle with dual GPUs and able to play almost any game on high.

If you want to lower the cost you can get this:
Phenom II X4 965

Good luck with your build.

mosox, are you looking at a different link?

The description says "ATi CrossFireX Multi-GPU Technology Support ATi CrossFireX is the ultimate multi-GPU performance gaming platform, enabling two or more discrete graphics processors to work together for boosted system performance and a breakthrough gaming experience. "

So, as long as you stick with AMD, you should be OK. Am I missing something?

Regardless what they claim, a CF mobo must have two PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots, none of them running under x8 speed.

Look at the details in the three AM3 mobos I posted above. So, CF with x16 and x4 is not good, good is x16 and x16 (needed only for high end video cards) or x16 and x8 or x8 and x8.

It's close to my price range and I would guess all the parts work together since they are in a combo, but is it worth it?

Wow, what a hot rod of a computer. Kept the two 6850's. That is a very nice SSD - one of the fastest on the market right now. Upgrade on the case. mosox approved mobo.

Should I spoil it by reminding you of your original post? Nah - go for it! This is a machine you can keep for a long time.
