So here is what I have so far. I am using whats available in Indian market to build this. Let me know if something is odd or should be made better here. Budget is not a major concern, 90% work and 10% gaming needs. I want to build something that will be good for next 3-5 years, super performance focused.

i would consider a motherboard upgrade, it supports only DDR4 memory and 2660Mhz .
your corsair ram is 3000 Mhz
consider a motherboard which can utilize GDR5 at 3200Mhz.
Your motherboard has M.2 PCIe inputs for aSSD, worth considering.
I'm no expert, just building my own PC at present and have done months of research, depends whats available to yo there,
I also have severe limitations here in the Philippines , so I ordered my parts from USA, much cheaper even withfreight and custons fees,
Good luck , tom ( PS tom is my name, nothing to do with Tom's Hardware )

Why not get the K series, so you can OC it if you need to
Also its stocked faster speed

Yes - Ram is very important to have DUAL (as mentioned below)

I will check if K is available, looks good.

For ram - go with 2x 8GB instead (or you loose dual channel capability).
Other than that - everything looks good.

I already have a 1 x 16 GB, so this is additional 1 x 16 GB. Total of 2 X 16 GB :)

K model is significantly more expensive. And OC on that board also not possible.

What is OC? Could not find in Google.

I forget Intel don't like to be user friendly - but the K also offers the better base speed :)
As for cost - he could be a millionaire :) He does state money not a problem

Although I would go with the 9900 if money wasn't the problem - just better , more cores/threads

9900 isnt available in India now unfortunately.

Intel Core i7-8700K 3.70 GHz Processor
Asus ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING Intel Motherboard - upto 4266mhz

Ok, aiming for these 2 as per your suggestions. Its $187 more, but as long as its worth it.

What do you think is the performance difference between:
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C16 Memory - Black (CMK16GX4M1D3000C16)
vs
G.skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz Desktop RAM (F4-3200C16D-32GTZR)

Is the 200 MHz difference so much? Or is it negligible when I am using 32 GB in total?

If you're not overclocking, then there's no benefit in going for OC capable components.
Keep in mind - OC requires additional expenses for cooling, rigorous testing. You get risks for instability, shortened lifespan of components. You said, your system usage is 90% work. Stability has more value in work environment than meager 10-15% performance increase from OC.

I have decided to go with: G.skill Trident Z RGB 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz Desktop RAM (F4-3200C16S-16GTZR)
2 Qty
= 32 GB, tested and sent to me by the seller.

Everything else is the same. I will have it shortly :) Thanks guys
