How is this build for gaming ?

g skill ripjaws x series 2x4 memory
2 80 mm fans.
How is this build? any recommendations for me this is my first p build since im switching from console and I want to play games on pc and make YouTube videos also. Ps i'm new to this website so i wasn't sure which area to put this under. Thanks again

you should get the newer revision of motherboards & cpus, they're basically updated versions of what you have.
talking about a Z97 mobo and a 4790 cpu.

also 80mm fans are very small, the standard fan size is 120mm and some cases support some 140mm or even bigger. You shouldn't get any 80mm fans for a gaming pc.

It's best if you just give your budget and purposes of the build. Also list any parts you may already have and what country you live in.


Your build wouldn't be bad, but it's not a very good use of money. You could do a lot better for the same cost.
