Hello everyone!

I made a thread a few months ago on a build and tomorrow i'll be ordering the parts.

Are they all compatible though? What will it be able to run in terms of gaming? And is there anything i'm missing? (I'm installing the OS through a pendrive and I don't need a wifi thing)

Also do I need a adapter for the graphics card? My monitor doesn't seem to have hdmi or that weird slot...

Thanks everyone :)

R9 280x is a capable card. It should do 1080p@60fps on high/ultra settings in most modern games (that are properly optimised).
the Build itself looks great, IMO i would drop down to a i5 4440 and to normal priced 1600mhz Ram and use that extra $ to get a r9 290, that way you will have a more powerful gaming Machine overall

Yes those parts are compatible. You will need to get an HDMI to DVI or VGA adapter. They are really cheap on amazon or ebay if you get them from china. Can be like $2 but take close to a month to ship.

As for that weird slot... that is called display port mini (DPm). It is the smaller brother to Display Port (DP) the up and coming standard for video playback.

Hope this helped.
