This is based on a build suggested to me earlier, but I did make 2 changes I swapped out a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard as well as Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply for the components listed above. Were they good changes or not and how good is this build for the money?

both motherboards are pretty baseline and not too good for overclocking 8 core cpu's, probably would max out at 8350 speeds. both psu's are more than enough for that build, seasonic is a more reputable brands for psu's and often contain components that will last a lot longer than some other brands. having not seen what exact components are in the evga psu, or any reviews, and the company hasnt been making psu's for long, its hard to say if they are any good in the long term.
