[SOLVED] How is this for a first build

Solution
A balanced gamer will budget about 2x the cost of the processor for the graphics card.
You are about 1:1.
Consider a lesser processor and a stronger graphics card.

RX580 is a power hungry graphics card.
I have my doubts that your selected psu is sufficient.
RX580 generally needs both a 6 and an 8 pin power lead, but that psu has only a single 8 pin.
If it could support more(like with an adapter) it would already have it.
Here are the requirements for other graphics cards:

If budget is any issue, why the B550 motherboard?

I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
240gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful...

this is my first pc build ever and my budget is pretty limited. the mobo will most defenietly be a b550 but thats just a price place holder. Also the case is the klaw not the case shown however i couldnt find it in pc part picker

Hi mate,

Ditch the CPU for a 1600AF and try and fit an SSD into the budget if possible for the boot drive. Otherwise, looks like a fairly basic but decent set up.

Cheers,

Trav

240gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games.

If you can go 500gb you may never need a hard drive.
With ssd prices down, even 1tb is reasonable.

You can defer on the hard drive unless you need to store large files such as video's.
It is easy to add a hard drive later.

The cooler master psu does have 2 6 + 2 pin connectors on it . Also yeah ok thanks ill add a ssd. Also the b550 is for upgradeability in the future as ill probably have this with some upgrades for a few years.

You are correct. It has one supply cable with two 6+2 attachments.
As to quality, you might want to read a lengthy series of posts on that psu on jonnygru, com forum, a respected psu web site.
