How is this for my first build

You can do much better. What is your budget? I wouldn't get any FX cpu or the GTX660, and what brand psu did you have in mind? That's important.

Could you also elaborate on what you will be using the PC for, how much you care about system speed/noise/graphics in games etc?

I've already built the system it runs good just wanted to know what people thought it runs games like Skyrim on ultra with little drops and mine craft at full settings at over 200 fps

For your very first build I see nothing wrong with the above specs. Its a great first computer that you should be able to enjoy no problem.

Add some more ram and you'll have a nice little machine

Thank you i do enjoy it and to the other guy who said don't get an amd or a gtx I like those better but that is my opinion
