I have chosen the parts carefully so that this PC has room for upgradability like doing SLI, adding SSD's, adding more RAM, hence why I am using a 650W PSU. I know that is WAY overkill for this build but since down the road I do not want to buy another one, I am just going to spend the money now and get a 650W. So what do you think? Is this a decent build for starters?

Solution
In that case, VS239H-P is the best one out there

Just in case, Go for Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DD3-1600 CAS9 or below

Rest is great, happy editing :)

Yeah I know, I want to put in a 770 but it won't work and plus I am fine playing games on medium settings so it doesn't really make a difference.

Also I changed the H80i to a Hyper 212 EVO and added a Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB SSD. I was wondering if it would be fine it I could like change the CPU to a i5-4670k. Would there be a big difference because I'm not going to be doing heavy video editing.

Hi Moees!
Nice build

I would suggest you to go for Asus VX248H for display, it has better response time, contrast ratio.

As fast as processor is concerned, hyper threading will reduce stuttering and lag while editing videos but obviously that goes for moderate to heavy editing.
But since you can't accommodate a 770 without degrading the processor, maybe better go for 4670k.
770 would really be much better than 760

Cheers :)

Yes since I wasn't going to be heavy video editing I decided to go with a i5-4670k. As the GPU goes. I am actually going to be doing SLI with the 760 in the future so I decided that not to get a 770 because then I would have to get something like a 750W to a 800W psu. For now here is my build:

Intel Core i5-4670k
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
ASRock Z87M Extreme 4
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600
Crucial M500 120GB SSD
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB SC
Fractal Design Arc Mini R2
Corsair CX700W Semi-Modular PSU
Samsung Optical Drive
ASUS VS239H-P 23"
Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator

EDIT: Also about the monitor, for now I actually think that the VS239H-P us quite expensive and the monitor you say is $200+. Do you any monitors that have at least a HDMI and DVI, are at least 21.5"+, are widescreen, and are less than $150 USD.
