I've been searching a lot online because I want to build my own computer for gaming. Which is a common thing, but as I'm new to this like so many others, I'm a little confused on some of this stuff. I've been trying to learn everything I can about building one of my own, and the time has come as I have the money to do it. I would just like to ask everyone on here about this motherboard.
What I'm putting on this motherboard:
CPU: i5 6500
RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz (2x4GB) Kingston HyperX Fury
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 SC (SuperClocked) Edition
SSD: 525GB MX300 Crucial SSD
PSU: Rosewill Hive 550W 80+ Bronze (Semi-Modular)
All of this will be inside the Zalman Z3 Plus (white)
If you want to look at the parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/fHbFgL
I know that the different chipsets don't directly effect gameplay, which lead me to the B150 chipset as I don't need to overclock, and don't much care for getting into RAID at the moment. This motherboard has all of the things I would need. Three 4-pin fan plugs, although the case I'm going with has molex fans (which I will most likely replace with time). I'm using the 1060 which doesn't have SLI, so I technically don't need an ATX board, but I went with it because I might want to add a sound card later. I'm going to add a WiFi card as soon as I buy all of this.
In conclusion, I'm almost certain that this motherboard will work with everything that I want to put on it. Emphasis on the "almost". I have a little doubt. Probably first time jitters. It would be wonderful if someone could help me on this, and tell me if I should just opt for a more expensive motherboard or if this one will work with all of this.
Thank you in advance.
