Is this configuration good for gaming? How long can this last for me?

It is good, yes.
BUT, if you want a device: the processor you listed does have 6 cores, which is really not necessary, as most games only use 2, and in rare occasions four. Maybe if you hyper-multi task with alot of heavy programs then it would be preferable, but not as much for gaming.

I will like to recommend the MSI Z87 G-45 motherboard. It is great and looks really awesome too. It supports LGA 1150 so for CPU, Intel i5 4670K would fit great in.

As for Harddisk i would add a SSD, the samsung 128 GB is enough. Once you go SSD, you never go back to HDD as anything else than storage, i'll promise you that.

I have the same RAM as you, it works great. I would like to add 4 more GB's as games are more RAM-demanding nowadays, but its your choice. RAM is also the cheapest upgrade.

The GPU is very good, i just gave one to my brother and he loves it.

If you dont have so much/dont want to spend too much money, you can start off with the MOBO and CPU i mentioned and upgrade more later.
