How is this PC?

Hello,

So, I'm building a PC for 700 euros that will mostly be used for gaming. I chose almost all the parts and I wonder if they will work with each other, if you people could tell me. This is my first time a PC and I'm not very experienced in doing so.

CASE: Cooler Master Elite 330
PSU: -not chosen/550W-
MOBO: ASRock H77M LGA 1155 Intel H77
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
GRAPHICS CARD: MSI AMD Radeon HD 7870
HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Blue/64MB Sata3 3200
RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 1600MHz DDR3 2x4GB

As you can see, the only thing I didn't choose is PSU. I don't know which manufacturer can I trust so if you can choose it for me.
Also, I'm planing on buying a FULL HD LCD MONITOR 23". Which one would you suggest me?

Not bad! Though if you're not overclocking, I'd drop that CPU to an i5 3450 and save some money (there's no difference at stock). I'd also take a GTX660 for the graphics. Money saved from these could go to an SSD (which would be much more beneficial). For PSU, I'd recommend Seasonic, XFX, PC Power & Cooling's Silencer and Silencer Mk III lines, and Silverpower's SP-Sxxx / SP-SxxxM / SP-SS series. For a monitor, the Dell U2412- or U2312- are really exceptional quality and reasonably-priced.

I didn't forget 🙂 I'm using one myself, but a lot of people don't realise that only a few Corsair models are actually Seasonic-built - Corsair use a range of manufacturers for their PSUs. The options I listed are pure-Seasonic. But yeah, Corsair and Antec are both fairly safe bets if you don't find a good deal on the other options I mentioned.

Indeed. I highly recommend Seasonic, XFX, and SOME Corsair units, like the HX or TX and AX units.

Thanks for the suggestions on the graphic card and processor, but I think I'm gonna stay with 7870 one. As for the processor, I'm thinking of getting i5-3470 instead of 3570. What do you think? I'm not gonna planing anything for overclocking.

Save some money and get the 3450/3470, it's a step down from the 3570 but it would be hardly noticeable because you are not overclocking.

I found this Chieftec PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817202016 It's cheap in my town and has 550W. What do you think?

Let's assume I'm gonna overclock (I never did it so I don't know much about it). I would choose i5-3570k processor. But what mobo for around 60 euros?

Impossible. You will not find an overclocking friendly motherboard to go with the 3560K, even if you do it would not be recommended because it is probably made with bad components. I never heard of that power supply, nor was I able to find a review on it, I suggest sticking to sam_p_lay said, XFX, Seasonic, SOME Corsair, etc.

Yeah but random's comment was about finding a good overclocking mobo at that price. ASRock Z77 Extreme4 is the go-to cheap-but-good overclocking board that's recommended. How much would you be looking at from your shop? What country are you in by the way? Surely it's better to buy online for more choice and less cost? +1 to steer clear of Chieftec. They're not very reliable. My friend used to swear by them... until one blew up on him.

I was talking about the motherboard being hard to find and stuff, sorry I meant 3570K instead of the 3560K.

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 is the one i found. Comparing it to H77 it looks stronger.

Yeah you'd need Z77 to be able to overclock.

For overclocking you need a Z77 chipset along with an Intel "K" processor, like the 3570K. That motherboard is a very good one, do you really need all the features it offers? If not you can save some money and go with a cheaper one.
