How is this setup for a gaming PC?

I am going to be creating my first PC so I need reviews on how this PC setup is. I would like to know how well it would run and what setting I could play it on for the following games: Crysis 3, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Farcry. Is there anything that I should add or remove from this PC?

Superb choice mate. This PC is well suited for gaming. It can run all the games you have listed at a decent Frame Rate. You will get around 50 to 60 FPS on all maxed out. It will also run upcoming games like Watch Dogs etc. very smoothly.

I'd get a cheaper keyboard, a cheaper mouse, only 8 GB of RAM, then use the savings to upgrade the GPU to 280x or GTX 770. Mind you, that would also need a 600W PSU.

You don't need 16GB for gaming, get an 8GB kit of DDR3 RAM (you won't notice any difference with a single stick, so you can upgrade to 16GB in future when needed) and spend that saved money towards a much better GPU, you'll be running games at ultra smoothly rather than with a 270x which is just a 7870 rebranded which won't do as well in comparison

Also that Asus 970 board is decent but you could spend an extra $20-30 on a 990FX chipset mobo if you're thinking of pushing a larger overclock

You'd also need a better PSU for the 770 and your CPU so just refer to the link I posted as a starter
