i only had enough thermal paste for atleast a tiny-bead sized circle. will it be able to last atleast a day? because my new thermal paste delivers on friday
Pastes are supposed to be thin enough you can almost read the writing on the cpu. As long as it spread evenly and covered the entire die surface, you are good. Use whatever software you use to read the temps of all individual cores. They should be within @ 10°C of coolest-hottest.
If they aren't, wait till the new paste arrives, clean it all up and repaste correctly.
