Two questions as I honestly have no idea how to work it out myself.
How long can a molex cable be? If it is extended is that safe? I ask because I want to attach a fan and some lighting too it for outside the case. Say the cable was 1 meter long, directly into the PSU without other components plugged into it (like HDD, GPU etc).
Next unrelated question out of pure curiosity how many molex adapters can go on one cable and all be used. Accounting for the PSU having enough power to run them easily. I for instance have only one cable going to the GPU. Could it cause issues if say that cable went to IDK a HDD and then to the GPU?
