I bought my desktop as a pre-built in either 2012 or 2013. I can't remember. Assuming it was 2012 and my mobo is now 6 years old, should I be worried? The mobo and cpu are the only old parts in my pc besides the fans.

Everything else has been upgraded and is 3 years or less old.

Specs: i7 4770 3.4 ghz
Gtx 1070
16 gb ram
512 gb ssd.

The mobo is an hp mobo if that helps.

PSU and gpu are a year and a half old

Solution
They hold much longer than cpu can handle workloads. usually mobo ( if no capacitor leak happens is fine 10+ years) if maintained (dust cleaned, etc) 20+ should be easy. All depends on initial quality of all parts. and if you count mobo with busted integrated sound card as still "working". I still have core 2 duo from 2006 working without any issues.
most problems happens either from bad quality PSU or no maintenance.
Download HWInfo check the temperature, CPU Usage, if it's Fine, nothing to worry. Every Mobo, has their own Durability, and i believe if it was Prebuilt PC, all fine, since they must be pick the good Hardware for their systems.

Still using my ga-ex38-ds4 from Feb 2008 with a Q9550s and 4 x 4GB ddr2. I did have a problem with ram a year ago. Mobo beeped like crazy one day, wouldn’t boot. Found out I couldn’t keep the ram voltage at 1.9, so I had to back it down to 1.8 and couldn’t overclock the ram anymore, so it’s at 800mhz now. Otherwise it works fine for me.
