[SOLVED] how long do riser cables last?

Hi, my newest pc is using a gpu extension cable, because I wanted the gpu to be on the floor of the case.

question: to those with experience using a gpu riser cable. Typically how long do these things last? Months or years? Asking because Is a comment in another place that their cable only lasted 3 months, and need to buy a new one after that.

question 2: my riser cable is not branded, got it for cheap from aliexpress. What brand do you recommend if I ever need to buy a new cable?

If you're not constantly messing around with them they will last longer than you'll need them.
