Question how long does IDE initialization take?

Are you talking about an IDE hard drive?
Your mobo doesn't support IDE so you also have an adaptor also there is no IDE hdd listed.
Also also what do you mean by initialization, the time for it to show up or actually choosing initialization in disk manager.

i got code A0 after installing win 10, manual says "ide initialization is started"

oh and i booted from a dvd

welp i turned it off and then on and it booted normally.
