how long does it take to install windows update

I have installed Windows 7 it's now doing a Windows update but seems to be stuck at 126 out of 131 this Has been going on for 7 hours please help

Well, you ran into a problem, and there's no way to diagnose it. Force restart the PC by the power button and it should continue.
