Ive had it since last 2012... i dont really clean it that much... and apparently, its about to die out on me, since when i play games, my screen goes black, not in game black, just black, as in, screen doesnt work, no display, nada... its an XFX overclocked series... any idea?

I shall do that in a bit, will reply in this thread if it continues to do wierd stuff

I... dont really know how to do that... tomorrows my birthday and i got a sneaking suspicion im getting an R9 280x... hopefully it will fix my issues... but, i will try to clean as much dust as i can from it 😛

okay, i cleaned it out, now, before i proceed to test it out, do you think its possible that its the game that is screwing it up? i havent played that particular game for a while, and im just wondering if that is a possibility

Check your connector cables. Update your drivers. Clean it if you can. If it doesn't help... well then you are in bad luck. But honestly GPU's are not so quick to die. I mean i have my GPU for around 5 years now, still works like a charm.

yeah i checked everything, cleaned it, etc... so far, Path of Exile, and DayZ runs fine, its just rust that plays up... might be a game issue... idk :/

From what i understand Rust is still in alpha stage, is it not? So its not strange for it to have issues. If your other games work fine, then i'm assuming its the issue with the specific game, in your case Rust.
