How long does steam support take to respond to lost accounts?

Locked my steam account and now want to reopen it. Wrote a ticket 5 weeks ago.

Ref. No. 7527-QTAV-4658.

Didn't got reply till now. How long does it take them to respond? Please help.

well steam is not so great with customer support from what I have heard, so perhaps just pray to lord gaben or whatever it is that steam people worship. I would try another contact if you do not hear anything with in another week.

If you can do anything please do it for me. Coming Sunday is deadline for our country dota 2 tournament registration. Never thought this would happen. I am captain of my team. Its spoiling career of 4 more persons. Any help would be praised.

I cannot do anything sadly, as I do not work for steam, try an email a day, and there should be some sort of phone number to call. any way you could borrow an account for the tournament?

Oh i can't. They just made a new policy for teams that only a member can register for one team and it can't be changed until tournament is over. Also they take driving license to verify identity so can't trick them.
