HSF : DeepCool GammaXX S40
Motherboard : MSI H77MA-G43
Memory : Dual Channel Visipro 2 x 4 GB PC3-12800 CL11-11-11-29
SSD : Intel SSD 520 Series 120GB
Harddisk : Seagate 2TB SATA III 7200rpm
VGA Card : HIS Radeon HD 7850 IceQ X 2GB GDDR5 256 Bit
PSU : Cooler Master GX EU 550W Bronze 80+
Casing : Simbadda Sim-Q
Monitor : LG LCD L1753S
Speaker : Simbadda CST z100
Headphone : Somic CD-2688MV
Keyboard : Logitech Standard PS/2
Mouse : Gaming Mouse A4Tech XL-747H Blue Spider

What I wanna know is how long my PC can be used ?
Maybe 1-2 years ?

And for now, can my PC run current modern games with max settings ?

Thanks..

The HD7850 will play modern games on "good" settings, but most will not be anywhere near "max." Considering that modern games look pretty good even on "medium" settings, and you should be able to get "high" settings, I think you'll be satisfied. Since you have a CM PSU, your upgrade room is limited (do not expect 550W from it, at least not cleanly), but a GTX660Ti would probably run on it.
I don't see why you wouldn't get at least 3-4 years out of it.

No reason you shouldn't get several years out of it as long as you're not set on playing games at max settings. To be honest, the GPU can't play games at max settings right now, but the 7850 should be capable of mainstream performance for at least a few years.

I wish you had asked us before your build, we could've put together something at the same price that would have made more sense. I have no idea why so frequently, people ask about these things after the point at which they can't do anything about it!

For a gaming build, you should have gone down to a 3570K and if you had needs that required a 3770 should've shelled out a little more for the K variant and a Z77 motherboard. 3570K would have allowed you to up the GPU. The PSU was also not a very good choice - that Cooler Master series falls out of spec in controlling noise and ripple when they get anywhere close to rated output and uses Su'scon capacitors which are problematic. It'll run your rig -- it's better than the lowest tier PSUs -- but that leaves you limited room to add something hungrier later.

And how about the CPU Core i7 3770 ?
How long it will be from this June 2013 ?
I mean for handling multitasking and quad core jobs or 8 CPUs gaming and application ?
Thanks.

if this was primarily a gaming build u should have gone for a better gpu and a cpu like i5-3470 but as u have already purchased it does not matter
the build looks fine and hd 7850 is a capable gpu but is no where near the best but can handle games well at 1080p the graphic card will not last as long as that cpu which is very good but its gaming performance will be same as a i5 as games do not use hyper threading(except crysis 3)

So, what kind of games will maximize the features of Core i7 3770's HT and 8 CPUs ?
Maybe in the next years, there will be games with such demands ?
Or, it is useless to have i3770 for gaming (sad, i have bought it 🙁 ) and i3570 is enough?

So far, I can run Crysis 3 all max settings with AA active very high on 1280x1024 resolution with 17" LCD LG Square.

You mean my CPU i3770 can be used for 6 years until 2019 ?
Now, Intel Haswell i4770 just released, next year i5770....

How do u think my i3770 vs new i4770, is it still OK for me with 3rd Gen Processor ?

Games rarely use more than 2-3 cores(except battlefield 3 on 64 player map, crysis 3), so the extra hyperthreads are largely irrelevant.
A hyperthread uses residual cycles of the main cores to allow another thread to do useful work.
The effective capability of a hyperthread is perhaps 1/4 of a full core.
This is of advantage in an app that can dispatch many threads. Video rendering might be an example.
But, a game usually depends on faster threads. That is one reason that the faster intel threads are better for gaming than the more numerous but slower AMD threads.
If a game can direct the os to dispatch it's critical work on a main thread, that is good.
If a game is ignorant about the presence of hyperthreading, important work may get directed to a slower hyperthread.
for ur resolution hd 7850 will be good for how many years that is difficult to say
also i5-3570 would have given u way higher performance per price
u should come to this forum before u make ur purchase so we can help u edit but as u already have made the buy we can not really help

Yeah.. I know I am too late to know this forum... 🙁
But, it is OK to have i3770 rather than 3570K ??

U mean LGA-775 ?
How about LGA-1150 for Haswell ?

We recommend the 3570K over the 3770/3770K in gaming rigs not because the 3570K is a better CPU, but because for someone on a budget, the savings can be used for a better GPU. For gaming, 3770/GPU < 3570/better GPU. The 3770 will certainly last you for a long time.
