New to the forum, not exactly sure if I am in the right place.
I want to build a cheap Gaming PC with Xeon X5460 (overclocking in mind), P43 mobo, 8 GB RAM, GTX 750 /1050 ti.
With the research I have done I believe it will do decently with the current games like PUBG, Fortnite, GTA V etc with medium-high settings.
But I am wondering if it will still perform decently in the next 2-3 years.??? and will there be any bottle necking?

Solution
You can build a cheap system on LGA775 but it won't have much of a future.
If you can step up to an X58 system with 6 core 32nm CPU and 3 channel DDR3 RAM and an overclock you will have something that can hang with much newer equipment and will be relevant longer.
There are 2 schools of thought on this.
Aftermarket unlocked MB with overclocked Xeons. X5600 series.

Or old workstations like the Dell T3500 or HP Z400 with software overclocking on unlocked CPUs.

As far as LGA775 goes you should try for the GTX1050TI, but step up to 12-16GB RAM with the 4GB GPU. This...

Hey, you will be able to find good intel socket 1150 (thus next gen following 775) mainboards, CPUs and RAM for good prices. Depending on your ambitions you might find a cheap build that will do for the next 2-3 years. Worst case you need to lower your graphics settings/details in future games. 1050 ti or even 1060 would be nice to have. Still you could also find a used GTX 960 or above for a good price to save further money.
