how long will my system last?

Just built a new rig and was wondering how far into the future it'll get me gaming wise

Msi 970a g46 mobo
amd fx 6300
2x4gb g skill ripjaws 1600 mhz ddr3 ram
Pny xlr8 gtx 960 4gb gddr5

this system will not be completely obsolete for maybe 3-4 years, but it won't play new games maxed out. As it is now, this is a squarely middling system configuration.
