How long will this setup last?

This is my current setup:

AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor
MSI 990FXA-GD65
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 8GB (2X 4GB) CL9 Red Heat Spreader
Sapphire Capor-X R9 270X 2GB

I'm just wondering if how long before I need to upgrade components.
My resolution is 1366x768 and the only AA I plan on applying is FXAA at most.

Will I need to upgrade in around 5 years, or not? (I hope not 😀)

It all depends on developers. Seeing how bad console ports we all seem to get recently, this build is already outdated in a way (not your build's fault, more like developers' fault). On the other hand, it should handle everything at the resolution you have for at least several years. How long exactly, noone can tell precisely.
