Question how long windows takes to create dump file? How long should i wait before turning off the PC by long press power button when my PC freezes?

Hi, my os- windows 10.cpu i5-4670k, corsair vengeance ram 4x4gb @1600 mhz dual channel, Crucia MX 500 500gb SATA ssd
Whenever my PC freezes for either BSOD or green screen or anything else , how long windows takes to create dump file? How long should i wait before turning off the PC by long press power button when my PC freezes?

that depends on your ram size and drive write speed
are we talking about dump size or minidump size?
minidumps are usualy quick with just some quick collection
full dumps can take a while on slow drives
that process creating dumps is also single threaded..so cpu speed somewhat matters aswell on speed
