How loud is hyper 212 evo?

How loud is the fan on hyper 212 evo (preferably dB)? is it worth getting a fan that isn't oem?

According to Toms 31dB, so yes pretty damn quiet..

Whether its worth it or not depends...
Are you getting high temps?
Does the stock cooler make unbearable noise?
Will you be overclocking?

If yes to any of the above, then its worth it to get the Hyper 212 Evo since they are so cheap anyway.

Be careful of the size of the hyper 212 evo. I just put it into a new build of mine and it actually blocks my 4th ram slot. So although 12gb will still be more than enough for me, it's a little irritating I can't use the other stick.
