How loud is this PC gonna be? [SOLVED]

Hey. I'm going for a quiet-ish PC and i'd love to know how loud this would be in theory (idle, load). Thank you all! Oh, and if there are any issues with this system please tell me as i'd hate to just waste money haha.

The Cryorig is fine (up to 25 dbA) but those Scythe fans are really loud (37 dbA).

Noise comes from moving parts. In your case fans.

For quiet, look to using larger and slower turning fans.

Your case includes one 140mm front intake fan which is fine. I would add a second 140.
Keep one 120mm for exhaust; that is all you need.

The cooler uses a 120mm fan which may not be sufficient for a 8700K which can get hot, even at stock.
Use a noctua NH-D15s instead. It will cool better, and the 140mm fan will turn slower and be all but inaudible.

Not much you can do about the GTX1080. Do not try to overclock. If you need stronger graphics, buy a stronger GTX1080ti and let it loaf.

evga GQ gold stands to be quiet, the fan should hardly run, if at all.

Under idle load I doubt you'll hear it although I'd probably opt for a pair of 140mm fans in the front and move the preinstalled Corsair fan into the rear as the exhaust. Larger fans shift more air for lower RPM than smaller ones so this should make the system even QUIETER!
Personally, I have a soft spot for the BeQuiet! SilentWings 3 but Phanteks, Noctua and, obviously Scythe make some fine fans, too.


Otherwise it looks fine to me.
