I'll be building a new gaming PC next month and I was looking at a SeaSonic M12II 520W PSU and an ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II and I've heard that the 770 requires a power supply with a 42amp 12volt rail. Is this true or is my power supply sufficient? I have the HDD, RAM and case. I'd like to keep the PSU under $70 and semi or fully modular. Just no non-modular PSUs. Thank you for your time.

Yours isn't sufficient to power a 770.

This one is.

Or this SEASONIC made ,, FULL Modular , Gold Certified.

45 amps on the 12v rail.

A 770 by itself needs about 20A on the 12V at 100% load. How much your entire system needs depends on the rest of the parts. Offhand, I would say a 520W SeaSonic PSU would be fine, but I can't say for sure without knowing exact parts.
