I was wondering how many amps a evga super nova 1600w pulls from the wall full load and half load... also how I would figure it out myself as well

Solution
why do you want to know AMPS? The basic formula of watts/volts = amps. In theory under full load a 1600W psu will put out 133.33 AMPS on the 12V rail, however this is only internally. No clue how many come from the wall.

I guess you could convert the efficiency rating at full load for that psu, and divide those numbers by that. per the THG review of that psu it's about 85% efficient at full load, so 1882 Watts from the wall? something like that?

Solution
amp = watt / volt

Lets say you running your full load = PSU at 1600watts

Now you need to figure out what your volts are in your contry. 230 volts? 120volts? 140volts? only you can now that
But here in my contry we have 230volts in the cables of the house.

So it looks like this: 1600watts / 230volts = 6,95 amps at the wall socket my psu is plugged into.
