Question How many bluetooth speakers can I connect to a TV

We have a Sony XBR-55X900E TV with Bluetooth 4.1 A2DP. Wanting to connect multiple Bluetooth speakers so individuals can listen at their desk without turning up the TV volume. Normally I've done this with a FM transmitter and FM radios but was hoping to use what's already there.

At least on BT 4.0 u could only talk to one set of speakers at a time, dunno if 4.1 removed this restriction.
