How many case fans can the Corsair VS450 support?

Exactly, I wanna know how many case fans can the Corsair VS450 support since I am planning to buy a case that can be equipped with 7 chassis fans. Thanks guys!

Fans use 8 to 10 watts per fan. Based on this 7 fans would use approx. 65 watts.

Do you already have the VS450? If you do not, then consider buying an XFX 550 watts PSU (prices are very competitive). Far superior to the VS450.

hey bud it all depends how much power your whole system draws if its over 450 w you need another PSU and it also depends how many fans you MOBO can support can you list the build you have in mind then i'll be able to give you more info

Connect the CPU fan to the CPU-Fan header on the motherboard. Connect the rest directly to the PSU; daisy-chain if necessary.

When fans are connected to the motherboard fan headers, the fan power used is supplied through the motherboard and this will increase heat slightly.

you should run at 300w with a 450 psu not much room for upgrade just upgrading to a newer cpu in the future could bust up that limit !
