How many CPU cores can Flight Simulator X use?

Just wanted to know if FSX would take advantage of 6 cores or 8 cores or if it will only use up to 4.

Sorry if this was supposed to be in the CPU section instead of PC gaming. It was hard to decide which one to put it in.

SP1 made it use more than 1 core but they don't say how many cores it can use.

I don't have the game, but I don't think it will take advantage over 6 or 8 cores. Dual core at max and probably even 4 cores.
You can set the affinity though.

Just as Gman450 said, most likely up to 4 cores. Maybe you should use Microsoft support and see what they have to say, in case they ever answer

i wish games had 6 and 8 core support, then my FX-8320 would dominate games, and all but intel's i7's would be forgotten...
