I have some friends that are totally addicted. I mean addicted! Like 8+ hours a day 7 days a week! I think they might only average 6 hours a day now but I think it’s because there at the level cap. Once they raise it or add an expansion there play time goes up for a bit. I decided I can’t spend that much time playing a game so never bought it. I mean if I’m going to spend that much time on a computer it should be teaching my self VB or something use-full. I’m ashamed at how much time I wasted on Diablo and that’s a only a fraction of time people put into Everquest. People call Everquest “Evercrack” It’s that addicting. It’s kind of sad how much time young kids are spending playing video games instead of going out and doing “real” things instead of living in some fantasy world. Talk about lack of exercise in today’s youth. O well I’m rambling.

Thx & Cya

When I first started playing I was hopelessly addicted. I had a really bad day with the game once (Lost some good equipment to a bug) and decided to sell off most of my Equipment on Ebay.

I made a total of 1200 selling stuff on Ebay.

After the second expansion I came back to everquest, but I only play about 3 days a week now, and most of that is on the weekends.

I consider Everquest to be an online chatroom where you kill stuff while your chatting :p

That's why I really like it. The game play gets pretty boring after the first couple of months, but the friends I have made is awesome! I've got one guy come over to my country to visit, and I've been asked by serval friends to come to the States and stay for holidays.
There’s another thing about EQ that is really interesting; it shows you the true nature of the other people playing, cause you can be anyone you wanna and act in anyway on EQ and none would be the wiser. So if you are an inherent [-peep-] (of which there are heaps in EQ) it really shows up in the game BIG TIME, especially when you play with the same people for months.
