how many fan headers does the MSI x99 GAMING PRO Carbon have?

Solution
Get a pwm fan hub if you would want to connect ALL of your case fans to your mobo. Or you could just get a bunch of 3 pin to 4 pin molex adapters and run the fans full speed from your power supply

A pwm fan hub: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811999309&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Accessories+-+Case+%2F+Rackmount-_-N82E16811999309&gclid=CjwKEAjwtqe8BRCs-9DdpMOilBoSJAAyqWz_XmPt0Wra-y7py4CalNnr1xLHYIlLsO92cQoAjVMWWRoCuinw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

3 pin to 4 pin molex adapter...

With the silverstone hub, can you still adjust fan speeds?

yes.

Summary for the hub from NCIX.

CPF04 is designed for enthusiasts with need for controlling numerous system fans.

It is capable of expanding one motherboard PWM fan header to support up to eight fans. Powered directly by SATA cable from the computer power supply and filtered through a built-in 2200μF capacitor, the CPF04 can provide clean, stable voltage to any fan for optimal performance. Equipped with speed detection* sensors for accurately controlling eight PWM fans simultaneously, it is an excellent solution for system fan expansion.
