How many fans does Asus Prime z370-a support

I looked at the manual and it has only 2 chassis fan connectors. I’m getting the Phanteks Pro M and it comes with 2 fans, 1 in the back and 1 in the front. I was planning on having 3 fans, with 2 in the front and 1 in the back. I’m also going to have the noctua nh-d15 as my cpu cooper but that goes into the cpu heade. I also was wondering what a fan splitter does and if that means I can’t control them. TYVM

Total 5 FAN connectors: 2 for CPU, 2 for Chassis, 1 for pump.
