My Setup:
  • CPU: I7-8700k
  • GPU: ASUS RTX2080 OC
  • CASE: Corsair 500D RGB SE
  • COOLING: Corsair H150i PRO (3x120mm in Front)
My Question is:
I already have 3 Fans in the Front (with my AIO). (INTAKE)
Should I buy only 1 extra Fan for the back? Or should I buy 3 extra Fans (1-back, 2-top)?? (EXHAUST)

Or am I completely wrong?

I would run it with the case closed and look at the temps.

Then I would run it with the case open and look at the temps.

If they are near the same.....I don't think any extra case cooling will help.

So I would at least do that first.

If it's only 5 or 10 degrees different.....I would start with only adding one fan.

I cant test it, because I dont have it.

Either i buy 1 Fan, or I buy the 3 Fan Set.
this is why i struggle

I'd say just get 3, unless they're pricey. Never hurts to have an extra fan or two kicking around. That way too, when you get the PC built, you can figure out how many to use in one test session.

Nothing I hate worse than being 99% done, and having to run out and grab one component, especially if working after the stores are closed.
