How many fans my mobo support?

Hello!

I recently moved my dell xps 8500 to a new case which is a HAF 932 advanced.

My question is, how many fans can my current xps 8500 motherboard support? I'd like to utilize the case fans that come with my case, 3 240mm fans (1 on top, front and side) and the cpu fan which is a 140mm fan. I'm currently using only the cpu fan in the back connected to the one slot I have on my mobo for cup fans. I'm not sure if my motherboard can handle all these fans though since they're all rather large...

Can anyone explain to me if this is even possible? Or what I can do to make it work? Any answers would be helpful since I'm new to all of this.

You can always connect fans to PSU if you are worried abut MB.

So I can just connect the case fans directly to my psu and just leave the cable that's supposed to be plugged into the mobo unplugged? That would mean the case fans are always running then, right?

Exactly, they will run full speed but just while computer is running if that's what you meant by always.

Do you think there would be any issues with that? Otherwise that sounds like a good idea to me!

You won't be able to control their speed but cooling will be best it can be.
