How many frames should I expect?

Thanks forreading this! So currently I have bf4 arma, war thunder, and more fps games and company of heroes 2. And I have an amd 8320cpu, msi 970a g43 mobo (getting asus m5a99fx r.20 soon), Kingston hyper x 1600 8gb ram and a power color turboduo gpu r9 270. I have been running it on my 32in tv and I wanted to know what fps I should expect when my benq rl2455hm 24in monitor come in. I know it's a noobish question please forgive me but I wanted to know if I should get two of the Gus or something better you would suggest if this one won't be any good for this monitor anymore. All help is greatly appreciated!

That GPU will provide a moderate playable frame rates on your 1080p monitor. Even I'm using the same 270 with a 1080p monitor and it works fine.

you should be getting over 60fps in ultra at 1080p with all of them maybe not for arma because its very poorly optimized and bf4 will dip down to 55 sometimes

Dip down to 55 sometimes? That is a very specific number.

Half of the games you listed are so easy to run, I bet my iPhone 5S would get acceptable frames. The only two you are going to have an issue with are BF4 and (especially) Arma 3. Expect 40-90 in BF4 depending on your settings, and 20-50 on Arma 3, maybe a few dips lower too (settings have a little bit of an effect, the frames listed are expected in mid-high pop multiplayer servers. They do make a difference).

im 100% its gonna dip to 55fps and your 5s will only get you like 10fps on each of those games

Also what difference should I expect if I decided to return that benq monitor for an ASUS VG248QE 24-inch LED-lit Monitor 144Hz refresh rate 1ms pixel response time & 3D capable fps wise, would I then need a new gpu

you really wont notice the 1ms or the 5ms because your eyes cant detect the speed but I would for the 970 if you want good performance

Pretty sure they are talking about the GTX 970 gpu, not 970 chipset. the 990fx is better chipset.
