i wanna hook up a bunch of 120 LED fans, mostly for decoration
but I dont wanna fry my computer.
I've learned about panel headers and think i'd like to just connect each fan into one another to a single molex connection instead (or 2 connections but off the same string).
My PC info is in my signature, and my PSU is a Thermaltake Smart RGB 600W. The fans are:
  • Rated voltage: 12V
  • Current: 0.12A
  • Input power: 1.44W

Please tell me how many i can have safely,
Thanks!

I have two questions for you.
  1. LED fans? do you mean they are the RGB LEB or regular LED one?
  2. Will you buy a fan controller or not?
Thanks for the replies!
LED Fans, yes but Blue LED, "upHere 15 LED Cooling Fan, Ultra Quiet High Airflow 120mm 15B3-3"
I don't know, do I need a controller? Should I buy one?
I bought 2 fan splitters, supposed to convert 1 fan header/port into 5 fans
but someone told me they are bad and don't provide enough Amps or something and can cause readings of fans to go haywire.
What do I need after I use my 2 regular fan spots, to get like 4-6 more?
I don't know what to do. Tell me what you would do please haha.

The 4 pin connector is rated to 11A so about 90 0.12A fans (~130watt, PSU permitting)

I just bought a fan controller for 6 molex fans :)
Check it out if u like:

if that link doesn't work (it is .ca not .com) you can see the picture here:

i will use the CPU port and Chassis Port on my motherboard for 2 CPU fans
and have 6 additional case fans running :D
Thank you everyone for your help!
