Question How many ports do I need for a three sensor oculus setup?

Also can I use an adapter and plug in one of the USB 3.0 plugs from the sensor into my USB type C port?

you can. but will it work is the question.

i have a 3 sensor setup and i have 2 sensors on usb 3.0 and one on 2.0. i had major issues setting up the 3rd sensor so i just moved on without it linking up. and everything is running great. try out edge of nowhere it is awesome.
