How many screws do you need to hold your motherboard in place?

I recently upgraded my pc case to the NZXT s340, but with my motherboard being a micro atx motherboard, only 3 of the holes in the motherboard dedicated for screws fit in line with the case stand-off screws. Do you think this will make the motherboard weak and possibly break?

short answer NO. long answer.. depends on your case, how often you move it. if you ahve a 1.2kg heatsink for a CPU cooler and you have motherboard on vertical.. that will be riksy.

All ATX cases should have locations for all the screws to attach mATX boards which use same locations as ATX boards. You may have to relocate some of the standoffs.

How do you remove standoffs? they seem too tight to unscrew

Normally they are just unscrewed just like a screw, I have a few cases which included a socket to (un)screw them.
